Getting error in Odata service based on BW query

Hi Experts,

I have created odata service by redefining the BW query using SEGW transaction code as per the steps provided in below blog

Transform SAP BW Queries into OData Service: Part 1 - Generation and Activation

Service is getting created successfully. I am getting the values for some of the entity sets of service. But for the results entity set I am getting an error 'Type conflict during a function module call'. what could be the possible reason for this error and How to remove this error?

Hi Abhishek,

This can be due to field length mismatch or structure/table issue or even data type issue while FM call.

Why dont you put a breakpoint in the GET_ENTITYSET method of the service implementation of the result entity set? This can guide you to the exact FM call. Also you can check ST22 log for short dumps which can tell you the location of the error.

Share more info if you find anything.
