Better create a report wrapping the FM SAPWL_STATREC_DIRECT_READ which will store the required data in a customer table for latter usage. schedule a periodic execution of this report (shorter period than cleaning of statistics files)

Also look at customer-exit associated to SMOD Enhancement S38MREP1 (But don't make any error during development once project is activated, else call Houston Walldorf as you have a problem if now unable to call any report...) so TRY/CATCH/ENDTRY mandatory and no Non-Catchable Exceptions!

Regards,

Raymond

I do not think you can achieve this.

regards,

Archer

Hi Archer,

I want to save the last execution date of all ABAP reports. That information exists only in statistic files and it's limited. That's why I have to develop it from scratch.
Well, I know all that ways for executing a program but I think that there could be a common path where we can trigger the report name.

Regards,

Ghassen

Maybe tcode STAD could give you some ideas. You see, in this execution log(this log will save 10-15 days`s data), there are execute time and program name. Then you create a zreport to extract those time, and only update the latest entry to a ztable.

Due to those logs maybe automatically deleted by setting of basis team, so you`d better create a bgJob to run this zreport every 10 days in night.

Hope can help you.

regards,

Archer
