Smartforms Background Image not printing

There is a requirement to create a proforma invoice in our company which is attached to output type. Accordingly I have designed the smartform (it was required to be printed in landscape mode) and it is printing fine. However latter on the requirement was enhanced to make the document tamper proof by attaching a background image which I have attached with the below parameters. What is happening after that is that I can see the preview of the form with the background Image, but when I try to print the print out doesnt come at all. I dont understand how the image with the following parameters prevent printing of the form all together coz without the image it gets printed just fine. With the image it is not even going to the spool. Kindly check and tell me if I am missing anything.

Please note two things :

1.The Form needs to be printed on both in Color as well as Black and White Laser Printer.

2.The Image size is 7 MB.

Are these causing any problems?

Hi Ankur,

You should smaller size of that image in SE78. i remember there is a limit size, just try a small size one.

The question is how do I reduce the size coz the Image has to be for full A4 size paper.

There should be some kind of errors/exceptions being raised during form processing then - if it's the custom code calling smartform, are the exceptions handled correctly?

Using your screenshot tool to cut the original image, i think it`s less than 1M. Then import it to SE78, cover the original one.
