RFC Connection

Hello Experts,

I am new for RFCs so i want know can i establish connection between two IDES system .

I have SAP IDES system install in my PC and one of in my Friend's PC so is it possible to have

RFC connection between these two systems . If yes then how can i establish it .

Please share your experience if have done or tried .

Hi Gaurav,

Get host name of other IDES using rfc_get_system_info FM.

you can configure the RFC connection in SM59. There you can give the host name and add a connection.
Same has to be done for other IDES.

contact a basis admin. He will be able to help you better.

Hi,

As suggested, SM59 is the tcode for setting up connection and once done, you can test the connectivity using test connection in the same tcode.
