How to pass correct values to BAPI 'BAPI_PROCORD_COMPLETE_TECH'

Hi Sap gurus,

I have tried to update the DB table by the below way but it is not updating the database...

Technically complete process Order

CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_PROCORD_COMPLETE_TECH'
TABLES

orders = it_orders
DETAIL_RETURN = it_messages.

After that I have used the commit BAPI .

CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT'

EXPORTING

wait = 'X'.

I am getting the error "Order <Orderno> has the wrong order category for this BAPI".

Can any one tell me what i have missed out ?

Hello Raj.

The error message is very clear. You seem to be passing wrong type of order.

The BAPI you are using is only for PROCESS ORDERS.

If it is a production order, you should use BAPI_PRODORD_COMPLETE_TECH .

HI,

Your order and category you passed should be exists in AUFK and AFKO table. Check conversion exits for the order number.

Hi Rushikesh,

I have found the route cause of the above issue as the configuration is not been set for process order in my system.

I am actually trying to find out whether do we have BAPI's to set and Unset the deletion flag for the process order. I could find out BAPI's to set the deletion flag but not able to find how to unset the deletion flag.

Can anyone tell me if we have any Bapi's to unset the deletion flag for process order.
