hi all,

SAP system was shutdown without closing properly and after startup my IDES is asking access key when I try to edit any ZProgram.

Similar problem was faced by myself when I try to work with webdynpro and it was solved using tcode which I forgot. I use to delete some records thereby it would enable to edit zprogram.

When I supply correct access key for idadmin it is saying incorrect access key.

Did any one has a solution.

I request moderators not to reject this discussion since I have tried my level best to find the solution but I couldn't find any answer.

thanks.

Abdul Raheem

Hi,

You last post on this was rejected because it was deemed to be a pretty basic question about developer keys.

When you say your system is asking for a key when you want to edit a program, is it asking for a developer key? If so, there is vast amounts of information about how to request developer keys if you search or indeed speak to some of your basis colleagues, or whoever has set up this legitimate IDES system...

Cheers,

G.

p.s. You recollection of fiddling locks and stuff via a TCODE suggests a dodgy work-around to me - I'd question whether you correctly applied a dev key to a valid IDES system...

Message was edited by: Gareth Ryan
