Hi,

WF Situation / WF Requirement:

I have to design a Workflow for Purchase Release to send the Notification for Email Address of the;

1) Approver (once the PR Release step is created)

2) Previous Level Approver (Once the PR is rejected)

3) PR Creator (_WF_Initiator) at any decision taken by the approvers

NOTE:

1) the Notifications are for external Mail Address

2) External Mail Address is stored in R/3 User Details & How can I get the details into Workflow?

Firstly enhance the business object for PR. Add a method which takes the approver user id as input and outputs the email id attached to the user id.

You need to define an additional task in the workflow. This task should call the method you have created above.

Also to send emails outside SAP you need to configure SAPCONNECT using transactions SCON and SCOT.

Creating a new method is not a problem,

the main confusion is taking the User_ID of the PR Approver and tracking the Approvers in the process.

The Scenario is :

1) Pickin the Approver's User ID by standard Rule (00000148). How this could be in the Workflow?

2) IF the 3rd Level Approver is Rejecting the PR, the Notification should go to the Previous 2 Levels Approvers and the PR Creator.
