function to get display length

Hello all,

I am now creating a program (via SE38) which will display some unicode text on the screen.

as the text is in unicode format, I want to know are there any functions can retrieve the actual display length of the character? (as some characters are double bytes characters)

I have searched from the forum with topic "get display length" but not sure which one is relevent to my topic.

Anyone can give me some ideas that are there any functions to retrieve the actual display length of the character?

Hi Sunny,

Maybe you can use this method FRAME_SEPARATED_TO_DISPLAY of CL CL_ABAP_LIST_UTILITIES, To see the class documentation, Just try.
