How do we create/update QMEL-REFNUM during quality notification

Hello,

I have a scenario to create quality notification(QM01) and the BAPI used to create is ' BAPI_QUALNOT_CREATE'. But this BAPI doesnot have the option to pass the reference number(REFNUM) to it.

Any idea on this how to create or update the QMEL-REFNUM

You could try the same solution than in KBA 1667389 - The BAPI_QUALNOT_CREATE does not

include the field MALFUNCTION DATE. using BAdI NOTIF_EVENT_SAVE ?

Hi All,

Resolved this issue by implementing BADI NOTIF_EVENT_SAVE, method CHANGE_DATA_AT_SAVE.

While saving the quality notification we use the BAPI 'BAPI_QUALNOT_SAVE'. This BAPI triggers 'NOTIF_EVENT_SAVE' BADI. By implementing this BADI, the above issue got resolved.
