Partial refunds in BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE

Hi All,

I want to make a partial refund in a PO but I don't know how to!

For example, I want to refund positions 5 and 6 of this PO. I am using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE, but in the table goodsmvt_item, only allows me to enter one item, but I need, in this case, to refund more than 1 item.

In the example attached, I try to refund 12, (marked in positions 5 and 6). If i enter in goodsmvt_item-entry_qty = 6, it works fine, but refunds me only one item (6, I mean). If I place goodsmvt_item-entry_qty = 12, the bapi returns me the message M7 021 Deficit of Project stock unr. 6,00 PC : XXXXXXX XXXX #### Q

By the way, I am using 932 movement type

Please, can anyone help me about this issue?

You say in your Original message: "but in the table goodsmvt_item, only allows me to enter one item". That is not correct you can enter more then one item in the table parameter of this BAPI.

Why do you think only 1 item is allowed/possible ? How do you call the bapi and how are you constructing / would you construct your item table (with more then one item)

Hi Peter,

Maybe I was not quite clear about explaining my issue. What I meant is when I try to enter more than one row (for example 2 rows) into goodsmvt_item, (see screenshot captura1) the bapi returns me twice the same message (see screenshot captura2).

What I try to do is due error from users, they want to refund items that they don't want to keep in storage, and they need to return part of the PO delimited in this case in position 50. This position has 7 lines. Actually I was able to refund 1 item (described at screenshot in my first post) But, when I try to refund more than 6 (e.g. 12 of quantity) If I place at goodsmvt_item-entry_qty = 12, the bapi returns me the error message described in Captura2.

The source of these data is a file.txt uploaded by a Z program. I've been reviewing the whole program, and there's nothing wrong with this. Even that, If I send to the bapi the right data, this function should give me back the refund I pretend to make.

Could it be that there is not enough in stock and that the material/plnat/storage location has been set to NOT allow negative stock ? Or that there is no more free stock, maybe it is blocked for control ?

It looks to me that is what the message is saying.
