How to Maintain Gap between two variable in script

Hi Experts,

I have requirement in sap script to maintain gap between variables like

PR &ITAB-MATNR&&ITAB-MAKTX&

i am using PR &ITAB-MATNR&&SPACE(10)&&ITAB-MAKTX& like this type of its some time working and some time not working,So any one can suggest me how to maintain gap between variables.

Have you tried ,, which produces a tab?

Alternatively, I seem to remember using something like

PR &ITAB-MATNR(&SPACE(10)&)&&ITAB-MAKTX&

Try using &ITAB-MATNR(18)&&ITAB-MAKTX(40)&

Two commas ,, should suffice.
