smartform issue after migration

Hi all,

we migrated one samrtform from one system to another system. it is working fine in the existed system...but in current system all the data is messed and in the existed system we have 3 addresses in the footer section but in current system it is printing only one address. I have compared all with existed system and everything is moved properly....if anybody know about this...please help me...

I am assuming that you have migrated the changes via a TR and missed out on the Smart Styles. Though, a screenshot of the two systems will be helpful.

How did you do this? With standard download/upload function?

If so then the smartform itself is probably fine, you need to check the links to the data in each of your footer subroutines.

any custom page format or fonts? which may be missing in target system

Did you migrate the smarttform using utilities Download form..and upload it using utilities upload form only?

Hi,

Our project is the migration project.Here we used to copy the TRs from existed system for any object. The same we have done in smartform...

page formats and font may not be part of development TRs so you need to analyze in detail on what is missing

The Smartform design should be identical, but you should indeed check what data you receive from the printprogram and what is retrieved in the Smartform itself.

I would guess that the Smartform doesn't receive the same data compared to the old system. Did the organizational entities changed names? Maybe there's some hard coding that retrieves specific organizational data and that changed in the new system? For example, company code, sales org,...

Hi geetha,

i think you might have missed out some TR regarding smartstyle or page format

while migrating smartform , thats my guess, its better to compare two smartform layouts,

and test it thoroughly.

If you are able to activate the Smartform, then it's not a Smartstyle issue 🙂
