Everyone must be busy pinging &lt;SPAN __jive_emoticon_name="mischief" __jive_macro_name="emoticon" class="jive_macro_emoticon jive_macro jive_emote" src="https://community.sap.com/1078/images/emoticons/mischief.gif"&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;RFC_PING has no code in it because it has nothing to do. You just make a call to it (at a remote destination) and check to see if the call results an error or not.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No error = successful ping.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;cheers&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Paul&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Recently I was working on SAP .net&amp;nbsp; connector to establish communication between .Net application &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and a SAP system.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I used FM RFC_Pinge in order to test my connection and it did the work nicely for me.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But the question I have is how its working, It don't have any code inside it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is it triggering some kind of evening in SAP system ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks, &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;John &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
