      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello Experts,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have F4 help field enabled using the event "&lt;STRONG&gt;On Value Request&lt;/STRONG&gt; " in a selection screen.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there a possibility to control the visibility of this F4 help dynamically ? Meaning i would like to hide this F4 help on the start of program [ would like to keep the On Value Request] upon the field.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This below syntax is not allowed in ABAP. AT SELECTION-SCREEN doesn't allow any IF .. ENDIF Condition &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;IF Condition.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;CODE class="keyword abap"&gt;AT&lt;/CODE&gt; &lt;CODE class="keyword abap"&gt;SELECTION-SCREEN&lt;/CODE&gt; &lt;CODE class="keyword abap"&gt;ON&lt;/CODE&gt; &lt;CODE class="keyword abap"&gt;VALUE-REQUEST&lt;/CODE&gt; &lt;CODE class="keyword abap"&gt;FOR&lt;/CODE&gt; &lt;CODE class="abap plain"&gt;P_WERKS.&lt;/CODE&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;.....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;CODE class="abap plain"&gt;ENDIF.&lt;/CODE&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;CODE class="abap plain"&gt;&lt;/CODE&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Naresh&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
