Getting Default value in the module pool search help .

In my requirement i have created one search help by using module pool screen (pov) and it contain 4 values .

my Requirement is in that 4 values one value should be defaulted for selection screen . if client want to change he can select F4 help and

select other value . But initially selection should be in defaulted value is 'PEND' .

my F4 help values are

1) PEND

2) WON

3) CLS

4)CNSL .

Hi,

if F4 help values are fixed as below,

1) PEND

2) WON

3) CLS

4)CNSL .

then you can assign 'PEND' to your screen field.

if idata is coming in table and data not fixed , then read table index 1 and assign it to field.

Just pass the value 'PEND' to a variable of the same name as of the screen field.

For Example - if you are having a F4 for PO number which is named as V_EBELN in the screen.

In the program, create a variable of type V_EBELN and pass on your required value.
