Dropdownlist box values not refreshing .

Hi Friends,

I am facing a problem regarding the dropdown box.

I am populating the value in the dropdown(LIST1) on the basis of other value(p_field).

The values are coming properly in the dropdown list box(LIST1) after changing the vaslues in other field(P_FIELD).

But the issue is that , after change in the vlaue of P_FIELD , the previous respective value of P_FIELD not clearing , it remains as it is on the screen.

I am using VRM_SET_VALUES to populate the list box.

Also i am refreshing the list box table as well.

Still , the pervious respective value is there in the list box along with the new value .

Kindly guide.

Hi Vaibhav,

You can't do anything while changing data on field.

So do a validation in PAI using CHAIN-ENDCHAIN for these two fields to check possible value combination.

I am not following the module pool approach .

Do validation using AT SELECTION SCREEN ON field_name.

Use this FM STATUS_BUFFER_REFRESH before VRM_SET_VALUES

Insure you refreshed you internal table (type VRM_VALUES) before calling VRM_SET_VALUES again, you should not be required to call VRM_DELETE_VALUES.
