ALV Grid not refreshing

Hi All,

I have developed a report program in which I am displaying table data in display mode

on screen 1001. and on click of EDIT button it will call SCREEN 1002 in edit mode.

User can edit and delete the records and on click of SAVE button , records are getting updated in table.

and going to SCREEN 1001 again. but SCREEN 1001 is not showing updated data.

I am using LEAVE TO SCREEN 0.

please provide your code written in the PBO of screen 1001.

There are 2 possibilites here :

(1) Data is not updated in internal table for display

It is possible that the the internal table used to display data in screen 1001 does not have the data updated.Check if the table contains latest data

(2) Updated data has not reached the screen for display

If you are using an ALV, remember to refresh the ALV using proper refresh methods.If not,check if the structure used to display data differs from the main data table...and update accordingly.

Hi Arpita,

You need to read the Database update made in screen 1002 again. Else there is know way you can see the updated data in Screeen 1001.

So,just write your code for fetching updated data from Database Table.

Hi Arpita,

Please use same internal table on screen 1001 that you are using for change and update in 1002.

If you are doing everything right in screen 1002 then, by using same internal table you can achieve your requiired result.

Make a call to CL_GUI_ALV_GRID's REFRESH_TABLE_DISPLAY method.
