    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Modification generally refer to a change that is done to a standard sap program when it fails to meet some user requirement.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When we do a modififcation, we actually change the standard code of the program. The changes will be overwritten when the user goes for an upgrade or when he applies a service pack.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;SAP provides an access key for modification and the customer does it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ravi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;What is actually meant by a MODIFICATION in SAP Terms. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the standard functionality in SAP doesnt offer something required at the customers end , Does the modification come in picture then ? Who does the modification SAP or the Customer ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
