When we run J1I6 we are getting dump. The dump is as follows :

The Open SQL command is too large.

what happened?

Error in the ABAP Application Program

The current ABAP program "J_1IMODF" had to be terminated because it has

come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.

Please let us know that why are we getting the dump or is there any SAP Note to be applied.

Hi Tarun,

Generally, this error occurs due to so many entries in the selection criteria (mostly incase of Select-Options Ranges).

But, J1I6 is having only parameters. May be due to internal code and some where more number of records are matching to the given date or input criteria.
