Hello,

I have been doing some coding work from Eclipse on our development instance, but somehow I get compiler orphaned processes while doing so.

Basis just checked the Configuring the ABAP Back-end for ABAP Development Tools guide to be sure. but the orphaned processes still keep happening.

Anyone have an idea why this is happening?

Daniel Herrera

Hi Daniel,

I would like to know which operation has called class CL_ABAP_COMPILER. Could you post the call stack? You should get it, when you double click on the entry in the Process Overview.

Thanks,

Michael

This is what I get from 2 of those orphaned processes.

I don't know it this is really what you need, I'm not familiar with getting the call stack.

Daniel

Michael,

I just learned how to get the full stack. I'm attaching the call stack of 3 orphaned processes I have today.

Daniel

Thanks, Daniel. Your colleagues also created a ticket so that we are able to logon to your system.

As soon as we found the reason for these processes and the problem it is not specific to your system, we will post an update here.

Michael
