SD/MM pricing routine

Hi,

I want to know how to select the appropriate pricing routine based on particular scenario in SD or MM ??

There are various types listed in VOFM like requirements-pricing / formulas-Condition base value / condition value... but its bit confusing to me.. i am not able to identify which routine will get trigger ??

Is there any way to identify appropriate pricing routine while debugging the stanadard tcode ?

Hello Santosh ,

Choosing the right routine is not an ABAP Developers headache ( atleast for Begginer in VOFM ).

Functional people are aware of the Standard routines availbale and which to be assigned according to the requirement.

And for any scenario you can sit with them and ask which routine has been assigned , what are the functionlity which this standard code is missing and based on that you can create new one or also you can enhance the standard one.

After having experience with VOFM eventually you will also be able to figure out the routine to used based on scenario.
