Error message

Hi experts,

I am into PP. I get the following error message every time when I try to save a particular production order. I had shut down and restarted the SAP Management Console but it didn't help.

ABAP is not my domain. Could you please explain in simple terms regarding how to resolve this issue?

Refer the SAP Note 147568 - PXA_NO_FREE_SPACE

and check the disk space?

Hi Sethuraman,

The program buffer consists of several fragments, which are relatively small. The smaller a fragment, the higher the probability that a PXA_NO_FREE_SPACE short dump will occur. Please check the number of PXA fragments on the affected application server by referring Note 1267828. If required, reduce the number of fragments.

The best possible way to eliminate this error is to increase the paramter abap/buffersize in instance profile by accessing transaction rz10.

Choose Instance Profile ---> Extended maintenance ---> Change the parameter value---> Copy ---> Save and then the new parameter value will be activated.

Then restart the SAP Management Console.

If possible, take someone's help to find out about the System's memory size.

Hello Sethuraman,

At first, 1) You have to check out numbers of fragments. If it is required then u have to reduce it.

2) Please check the number of PXA fragments on the appropriate application server by referring Note 1267828.

3) Try for increase the paramter abap/buffersize in instance profile by accessing transaction rz10.

Choose Instance Profile ---> Extended maintenance ---> Change the parameter value---> Copy ---> Save and then the new parameter will acctivated.

restart the SAP Management Console.
