Maximum no. of repitition exceeded while processing IDOC

Hi All,

I need to reprocess IDOC in error via a report program, for that i am using FM IDOC_INPUT.

But when i try to reprocess a IDOC 3 or more(without fixing the underlying issue which led it to error status) time it give a different error message stating "Maximum no. of repitition exceeded"instead of expected error message. LAthough it allow to reprocess the idoc again, i am unable to understand this new Error.

Could you please explain why this error comes and how can i avoid it ?

Hi,

It should happen, because you are reprocessing IDOC again and again! I guess system not allowing to reprocess IDOC at the same time!
