Creating sales order through bapi?

Hi Experts,

When I Am Trying to create Sales order Through Bapi BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2. I am Getting error like Document type is not defiend,

unpermitted business object 2032, I have passed everything is correct .please give me suggestions.

Hi Laxman,

In tcode OVAZ, check if you have maintained the Sales Doc typ in permitted sales area that you are passing in the BAPI.

Check and update here.

Those two statements are mutually exclusive!

As someone has already suggested, speak with your functional team to understand just what data you need to pass in. Also, I'd suggest walking through the transaction to create a Sales Order manually to check all the data you are using is correct. Then, start small with just the bare minimum header and item data to successfully create an order.

First things first though, speak with your functional team for some guidance as they will have much better answers about your system, config., data, etc. than people on SCN who can't see any of that.

Hi Ravilla,

Here is only one issue with order type that you pass in BAPI.

Check order type with corresponding sales area as you pass in BAPI.
