Create change document for change in customized data

Hi,

I have a requirement that when ever a new route is created or an exit route is changes, change document should be generated in table CDHDR and CDPOS. I have done the required configuration in SCDO transaction. Update program is also generated for the same, but still no change document is getting generated. Route in created and maintained in SPRO using a customized transport request. Can anyone suggest whether its possible to generate change document for route master?

what is the table and field you want to activate the change pointers! can you provide me the trasaction!

For me all the customized table have change document .. no ?

Did the SCU3 works for your table ?

Frédéric Girod you are right SCU3 works as table level logging is normally active

Hi,

The table is TVRO. When route is created or changed using transaction SPRO, a new entry is created in TVRO. As per the requirement change document should be created for any new route. I know how to do it using SCDO transaction. But it just not working in this case, is it cause of customized data?

I believe their is no need to Change document for this customizing table since the log data changes at table level is already activated. You can view them using SCU3. Seconldy in order to write change documents you will need to code and call function modules which does not make sense in this case. SAP has already provided you with this option

No, SCU3 does not work for my table. Though TVRO is a customised table, still it does not work.

Check if you see any entry in DBTABLOG for this table if yes then you have problem with your auhtorization

I will explain why I need this. I want to automate Transportation Lane creation in APO system , depending upon Route in ECC. Whenever a new route will be created , I have to create transportation lane and zone in APO. I made few RFC enabled function modules which will create TLANE in APO system depending upon newly created route in ECC. But I am stuck here, how to determine whether new route is created or not.

You are run a report which analyse DBTABLOG table for the newly created route and send it..

Can you check AUT10 if logs are appearing in this transaction ?

hi,

Also check authorisation group in SE11 Utilities->Assign Authorisation group for this table. Probably u need this auth. group to view this in SCU3.
