In implementing SAP General Ledger as part of FI what kind of work would be there related to ABAP development?we will implement Collections and Disbursements after General Ledger implementation.

more keen on knowing ABAP work that would involve int this scenario.

Hi Moorthy,

ABAP is a similar kind of work any of the application module(MM,WM,SD,FI..) In SAP, It is essential to understand process knowledge of application which you are working for any project. Just try to understand the business process on the GL's / cash flow. You will implement the technical solutions vary easy

Dear Murthi,

In normal scenario there are business partners system called calculating system ( like claim management,incentive and commission management etc) has a interface with collection and distribution system called setting systems and setting system is having interface with GL and controlling.

Special integration functions allow you to transfer status and process information back to the settling systems.

Collections/Disbursements also form the integrated interface to the SAP G/L and to Controlling. You can also transfer data required for special evaluations to special ledgers.

I feel that you may required to develop an interface with those different systems.
