2D barcode with Smart form

Hi all ,

i need one help to print a 2D barcode using smartform , on printronix printer ,

as per my understanding we need to have a code to paste in the Smart form ,

can any one help me how to get that code piece for Printronix T5204

Searched on net but no luck to have the 2D barcode printing using sap smartform,

Hi SN,

If, it is just 2 D Bar Code then I can help you out,

but if there is some thing specific for printronix printer, then I am sorry sir.

Well, for 2 D, you need to create a BarCode in SE73 ( choose a symbology may be PDF 47),

choose height and all as per your requirement.

Assign this to a Character Format, now you can use it in your smartform text,

in smartform text, use this character format,

it will print the 2 D Bar Code.

You may face problem, if your text is too long ( more than 250 chars ).

i already did this a this here i can see the print preview ,but nothing is gettign printed,

Hi SN,

Pls check whether your smartfomr have been translated in the relevent language.

Else, you may consult your Basis Team for Printer related issue.

There are couple of SAP Notes as well for this problem,

they may help you.

i need to know how to update the code form file in the Smart form ,

also where the variables needs to be given to fetch the data ,

Please create a Z output device with device selected as of Printronix with the help of BASIS.
