IDOC Segment FIDCCP02 segment E1FIKPF

Guys ,

Im displaying IDOC FIDCCP02 segment E1FIKPF and I need the value BSTAT is not there , how I activate it , I know is in the segment because I saw it in WE31. Could you help me please.

Hi Jose,

The segment field will be displayed in the IDOC, only if it has any value.

If no value is populated to the field, it will not display the particular field in segment display.

Please check the logic of populating the data records, whether the field BSTAT is populated or not.

Unless check the corresponding Idoc content in transaction WE19.

Can you please explain your issue with detail. the segment has field BSTAT is the issue like you are not getting value in it or you want to fill this value..

Well Im populating the field in the exit

EXIT_SAPLF050_010 with the following code ,

if FI_DOCUMENT_HEADER-BLART = 'ZZ'.

FI_DOCUMENT_HEADER-BSTAT = 'P'.

endif.

I test with we19 as you told me , and indeed there is an error but I cannot see which one.

what type of idoc is it inbound/outbound..? What actually are you trying to achieve please provide the details. What is posting function module for IDOC which you are using..?

It is an ibound IDOC , I just want to fill bstat field.

If it is an Inbound Idoc, then you should be able to see it in WE19. What is the error you are getting, when tried in WE19?

You gave to view the idoc in WE19, and double click the E1FIKPF. In a popup window, it will show all the fields and its value.

As there is no value it is not displaying the field in the Idoc display. And as it is an inbound the data will be come from a different system.

And you are populating the BSTAT field value in a user exit of the inbound function. So the value will be updated in the document generated due to this inbound idoc. And the value will not be displayed in Idoc content

thanks Thanabalu , Your adivce put me in the right way to clarify my doubt , I was using the wrong exit to update the field.
