Hai,

By using Chain & EndChain we can do the Validations for fields, my requirement is first i have done validations for a perticular field with one value processed and again i have

entered same value to that field i dont want to do validation again for the field

for this wt we have to do?

Hi,

1. Why don't you want do the validation again as there is no gaurantee that the user would have entered the right data.

2. If you have to do it, then you need handle that programatically. Do the validation only if a flag is not set. Have a flag and set that to X after doing your valudation.

Hi,

If u want to skip the validation for same correct value u had entered previouly then u need to check the new value with previous one. For this u need to restore the old value and match with new one.

But this ultimately will lead to another validation.

If your value doesn't change you can use 'ON REQUEST'

but you are writing the same value again so this will not work. you have code your own logic to do this. there is no standard way available.
