Hello,

I can't quite interpret this error log when I get an auth error on Plant in a BW report. The report has 0PLANT inserted into the query with an auth filled variable behind it. My user is authorized for Plants MS* and MT. If I put a range in the plant field of MS00 - MSZZ, I do not get any auth error. If I put in a range of MS00 - MTZZ, I would expect no auth error because user is authorized for MS and MT*, however I do get an auth error and here is the SQL check it's failing on:

NOT 0PLANT LIKE 'MS%' AND 0PLANT BETWEEN 'MS' AND 'MT'

AND NOT 0PLANT LIKE 'MT%' AND OTCAACTVT = 03.

User obviously has OTCAACTVT with 03 but I don't understand the logic of that system auth check.

can you put the values from your analysis authorisation into the thread or post the completet log?

Hi Maik,

I've attached the log. You can see that the user is authorized for Plants MS* and MT*. Had to convert to txt document but all relevant info is still there.
