STO Return process updation

Hai Experts,

we transferred material PLANT A to PLANT B With Excise Invoice through Proforma invoice. now PLANT B again sending back these material with same QTY. in this Scenario which registers will be updated for returns. please explain me return process . I searched in the forum but did not get the clear information ...so please help me with clear process for Excisable FG GOODS Return in STO from Plant to plant ?

This can be achieved in different ways from SAP point of view but what the most important aspect you need to take into consideration is how your client want to map the business process. Please explain that so that suitable suggestions can be given.

STO Return process between two plants is same as Normal STO process

Only the difference is receiving plant is become supplying plant and vice versa

For Register Updation:

In Normal Case

Plant A : RG1 register will update

Plant B : RG23A part 1 and Part2 Register will update

In return Process Level:

Plant B : RG1 register will update

Plant A : RG23A part 1 and Part2 Register will update

Dear Laxmipathi .

My Client STO Scenario is

ME21N ---VL10B---- VL02N ( PGI)-----VF01( Proforma Invoice)----J1IIN ( Excise invoice through Proforma Invoice )----MIGO---J1IEX update for Receiving plant

Now PLANT B again sending back these materials with STO return process Like

ME21N ( For Return)----VL10B----MIGO---VL02N Goods receipt Now my requirement is we need debit the PLANT B Excise Values for these QTY & Update the Excise for Plant A Value how can i do this please Suggest me ?

For Register Updation:
In Normal Case

Im very new to CIN if the product is finished good,while return process why RG23A (Register for Raw material)should update.

As per my knowledge, if any material is going to outside the plant whether the material is FG Material or Raw material or Packing Material we need to update the RG1 Register.

If any material is coming to plant ( Inward) then we need to update the Register RG23 A or RG 23 C
