Balance Sheet

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement to create balance sheet. Please check the following screenshot of S_ALR_87012279:

The client wants the output in the following format:

Now, is it possible to move assets to the right in S_ALR_87012279. That will make a descent balance sheet. Other suggestions to make balance sheet like this are also precious.

You will not be able to change layout to your desired output format in this report, but you can definitely check the code of the report(RFSBWA000) in SE38, it uses logical database "SDF" to fetch data and some function modules to read FSV(like "FI_IMPORT_BALANCE_SHEET_POS" ). This will help you develop your own report with your desired format.

It will become too complicated. I want to know how ABAPERs do the balance sheet. I would request everyone to share how they have contributed to balance sheet in their companies. What are the different methods to create customized ones and standard ones closet to the second screenshot above.

You can check the possibilities with :

1. Report Painter (where may be it required development in few Cases)

Transaction code for Form Design FGI4 and for Report FGI1.

2. Second option where it is possible to design the report as per your requirement is with ABAP Developemnt where logic is required to be given to ABAPER for picking up the data.

3. And Final option is BW (Business warehouse) where you can develop the query for the reporting layout as you required.

I can think of two possibilties.

Either you make an implicit enhancement ne END OF SELECTION as export the data to memory and use exit. You custom program will submit this report and import the values exported by you in the enhancement. Then in your custom report you can format stuff as you want.
You can make a Z copy of it and adapt accordingly.
