Reading ADRC with performance but only city_code and streetcode

Hello,

we have a lot of duplicate entries in Streets and cities. So I have to find out, if they are already in use by ADRC.

The follwing ABAP is very slow (because I am not using the table key), so I try to find a fast way:

SELECT SINGLE * FROM adrc

WHERE city_code = city_code

AND streetcode = strt_code.

Any ideas?

You could put an index on those two.

PS: But really, how often will it be used? Once a month? Is it worth worrying about a long run time if it is rarely used?
