Adding field to MB51

HI,

I need to add a field (MBEW-BKLAS) to MB51, I have created a Z report by copying the program RM07DOCS to ZRM07DOCS

I am struggling to find where to add the field to the ALV output

In the DATA SELECTION subroutine I added the field to the select statement into work area gt_fields but I cannot show the field in the output.

If anyone has any idea advice please let me know, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Brian Murphy,

Please try with the below steps :

Report RM07DOCS could show all fields of the MM documents.

Required fields should be EITHER in database table MKPF MM document header OR MSEG MM document item.

Please have a look at the note 357187. There you will find a description how to activate further data fields to be processed in transactions MB51.

When I'm adding a new field with those steps you have outlined, can I add in another table?

Or does the field have to reside in tables MSEG or MKPF?

The field I need is in MBEW

Hi Brian,

it is possible to add the field in another table with key field relationship. or try with standard tables itself.

Is this done in config SPRO?

Or does it have to done in the code for the report in se80?

NKC is right, and the mentioned note has the answer, please, see the comments around fields Z_GAL_VAL 'Value in galactic currency' and Z_GAL_CUR 'Galactic currency key'.

Thanks for the help...

I've added the field but it is not in the output

I can see that the extra column has been added but cannot see it in the output. Could it be an issue with the sizing of the report?
