Automate SAP Gui for Java install

Hi there,

We have a SAP Gui Server install and that's working fine for deploying SAPGui onto Windows.

We're starting to get an increasing number of Mac laptops.

Is there a recommended way for automating the install of SAP Gui for Java (with configuration) onto Mac's?

Hello Tim,

there are several ways to install SAP GUI for Java. Please refer to chapter "Installation" of the manual.

For your case, either a UI-less installation or Web Deployment might make sense.

During the installation, the configuration files can be deployed. Please refer to "Administration

- Configuration Files", section "Installing Custom Templates".
