create BOM with Batch classification and manufacturer code ?

Hi All,

I need to create BOM along with manufacturer code ,

here im using the below FM for BOM creation :

CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_MATERIAL_BOM_GROUP_CREATE'

But it is not assigning Manufacturer code for BOM Items .

Please suggest me valuable solutions .

In which structure are you pasing the manufacturer code when calling the BAPI?

Hi ,

I need to pass and create Manufacturer code , it's in itms structure name Vendor_no like that , but im not sure and its not working ...

Hi,

I think the manufacturing code is an attribute of the vendor master record.. see if that is updated as a part of the process. The field does not seem to be updated in the BAPI you might have to get an exit or additional code. Hope the field that you are talking about is EMNFR in LFA1.

first create the bom master after update it.. with manufacturer code.
