BDC Table Control issue in tcode SOST recording

Hi All,

I am using the SOST tcode in recording to resent the emails after selecting the row in table control. While recording when I am selecting any email from the list to resend I am not getting the row selection code capture in the SHDB recording. Please let me know how to get the row selection code and the logic to get the next proceeding row in BDC.

Hi Ramesh,

First thing it is not table control in SOST it is an ALV which we cannot capture in BDC recording. This is the problem with SAP ALVs that we cannot do recording on them directly. I also faced the same problem some time back.

Better you look for other options rather than recording SOST.

you can use tables related to SOST like SOES etc. and read what ever values you would like to read , based on the status (like waiting error ) and then using FM you can resend the mail.

Please debug program rssosoststat to get the exact FM needed ( I had the name but I can not recall it now) and needed parameters can be taken from above mentioned tables.

Hi Ramesh,

BDC cannot be used for the transaction SOST.

Instead you will have to fetch the data from the table associated with SOST and resend it.

@Ajay : My requirement is that what ever out going mail which will get listed on SOST, I have to forward those mail in BCC to support team mail support@xyz.com.
