List all interfaces

Hi,

I'm pretty new to SAP and am asked to provide a list of all interfaces connected directly to SAP (ie. barcode scanners, printers, objective, ...). Is there a way to get an overview of all external systems that provide data for/get data from SAP, what IP they have and which protocols they use?

The following are the techniques currently supported by SAP (as in SAP Version 4.6c) for both
batch and real-time interfacing.

Batch Data Communication (BDC)
Batch Input (BI) & Direct Input (DI) programs
Remote Function Call (RFC)
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
Application Link Enabling (ALE)
Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI)
SAP Automation Tools
SAP Connectors
Internet Transaction Server (ITS)

Low-level communication techniques

CPI-C Communication
Platform specific development libraries for SNA & TCP/IP communication

and a number of third party EAI tools to integrate SAP and Non-SAP systems with R/3.

But if you are using XI you can almost do any interfacing with SAP.

Can we divide these interfeces based upon SAP domain like these interfaces for SAP BW and these interfaces for SAP HANA

If it is SAP to SAP yes you can divide and see them in BD64 Transaction where you can specify the entire Distribution.

Also when you maintain partner profiles there the filters exists what messages will go and what not.

Well for Non SAP , you need to have XI where you can do all sorts of things.
