smartform overflow main window data does not show

I have a long text to display in smf.

As you know, smf has a display limitation of 255 chars for one string.

So all the content is in a table and I use loop command to display.

However, when the first page cannot hold the all content, the overflow content has been cut off. I mean no next page is generated automatically.

can anyone give me some ideas, thank you.

Hi ,

Check this Standard Smart forms " LB_BIL_INVOICE " given by SAP , How Next Page Concept Work .

Hi Ming Yu,

Have you selected the Next Page in the General Attributes tab of a Page?

Hi Ming,

The table should be inside the main window and as Prasanna has said you need to have a next page in the general attributes tab.

Hi Ming,

If you have a long text in main window and you are using it from internal table, then it will automatically trigger a page break.

Please let me know where are you using that table loop in main window??

Command NEW-Page is used when you are working in secondary windows as in secondary windows the page-break is not triggered automatically.

Hi Ming Yu,

Please check the below points.

The over flow text loop should be in Main window.

The next page is defined for your page in General Attributes of the current page.

If these two exist then it will overflow.

Hi Mingu,

Just maintain that window(What you want to print text) in main window then specify in general attributes tab naxt page . So that overflow data will display on the next page.

thanks, all.

actually, the problem occured is because of I am not using an intenaltable.

The data in a template will not automatically go into next page when date overflow.
