RSVTPROT Need Documentation

Hi Friends

Does any body have the SAP Documentation in detail for this report ? as the available description language is not clear , not sure its in which language ?

Also want to know what exactly this report do and does it belong to BASIS activity completely ?

( now i just know that this report SAP provide for viewing table change logs . )

Hi,

It is mainly used for table change logs checking.

Tcode -SCU3.

For details,You can follow the link provided by Narendran.

There are few sap notes also You can check.

The program description in german language.

Hi Meeta,

Let me explain the things which i know about the report RSVTPROT.

This Report is used to display the Table Change Logs. (Changes related to the data stored in the table - Creation, Changing, Deletion, Person Responsible , Old and New Values , Date and Time of change etc)

Prerequisite: Log Table changes check box should be checked in Data Dictionary.

There are two radio buttons in this report.

1. Customizing Object

2. Tables

If Customizing Object is selected - Changes done only through SM30 (Table Maintenance Geneartor) will be shown in the Report.

If Tables radio button is selected then all the data changes done to the table will be displayed.

Main Point: There should be an authorization Group Associated with the Table.
