Problem with Export to excel on LINUX OS

Hi,

I am trying to export report data to excel using Fm" MS_EXCEL_OLE_STANDARD_DAT" it working fine on Windows but on LINUX OS its giving error

That FM is using Office Integration meaning it needs Excel to be accessible by SAP GUI, in other words Excel needs to be installed on the PC.

Thanks for reply Excel is already installed on PC . When we export data from standard table using standard Export to excel button its work fine but if i am going to try same using FM its give an dump . If there any other FM for this let me know .

First you say one thing and then you say another thing. In your original message you said the FM works on Windows but not on Linux. The reason for that is that there is no Excel for Linux nor is there native Office Integration for SAP GUI for HTML or SAP GUI for Java for that matter. The default export to file exports to a CSV file, not native Excel format.
