Set Cursor After Selection Error Message On Perticular Field

Dear All,

I have created custom screen in purchase document item (ME21N) using Exit MM06E005.

i have used the function module EXIT_SAPMM06E_016 & EXIT_SAPMM06E_018 and screen 111.

i placed only one field in my screen namely EXPO_CI-STLAL.

i had validate this field using BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST and method CHECK init.

as check method is not supported warning message i had raise message using MACRO as per following syntax

MMPUR_MESSAGE_FORCED 'W' 'ME' '303' MESSAGE '' '' ''.

now this will open popup of list of warning message and working fine,but when i select my message and press edit button cursor is not set on custom field.

Hope You understand the problem.

kindly help me.

For Example i am getting following list of message,in this, first message is my custom message and when i select this and press edit button cursor is not set on my custom field.

You have to used the bellow code

SET CURSOR FIELD name OFFSET pos.

SET cursor is not useful in this case because screen is created in customer exit and validation is done through BADI.

Use macro mmpur_metafield before mmpur_message_forced. There are reserved values for customer fields mmmfd_cust_01 (90000000) to mmmfd_cust_10 (90000009). You have to link your fields to those id in BAdI ME_GUI_PO_CUST Method MAP_DYNPRO_FIELDS.

IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST~PROCESS_ITEM " or in loop in CHECK

mmpur_metafield mmmfd_cust_01.
mmpur_message_forced 'W' 'ME' '083' text-002 '' '' ''.

IF_EX_ME_GUI_PO_CUST~MAP_DYNPRO_FIELDS

loop at ch_mapping assigning <mapping>.
  case <mapping>-fieldname.
    when 'ZZFIELD1'.   <mapping>-metafield = mmmfd_cust_01.
  endcase.

Hey thanks for reply but i had design screen in exit MM06E005 so MAP_DYNPRO_FIELDS method of BADI ME_GUI_PO_CUST is not triggering.

i already tried with it but break point is not triggered.

if am wrong please suggest.
