      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello Kaushik,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To copy a class programmatically will take three steps:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1-BAPI_CLASS_GETDETAIL&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2-BAPI_CLASS_CREATE&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3-BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;These BAPIs are well documented.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There are also BAPIs for the Characteristics.&amp;nbsp; For example: BAPI_CLASS_GET_CHARACTERISTICS and BAPI_CHARACT_CREATE.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To find all the BAPIs for Classification, execute t-code BAPI and &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;navigate to 'Cross-Application Components-&amp;gt;Classification-&amp;gt;Class/Characteristic'.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can also&amp;nbsp; see the BAPis by the Business Object methods by executing tcode SWO1 &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and inspect business objects BUS1003 (Class), BUS1088 (Characteristic) and BUS3060 (Object Classification).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Kim&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
