BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_TASK_RELEASE & BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_TASK_COMPLETE

Hi All,

I have issue with 2 BAPI for Notifications BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_TASK_RELEASE & BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_TASK_COMPLETE

Currently im able to Release & Complete Tasks in notification with these 2 BAPI.

When i check the status of the tasks the completed date, time and completed by the status are not being updated by these 2 BAPI. Can anyone tell me how to update the fields?

For the BAPI BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_TASK_COMPLETE i passed values

CARRIED_OUT_BY

CARRIED_OUT_DATE

CARRIED_OUT_TIME

Another issue i have when using the BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_TASK_RELEASE the planned start & planned finish are not being updated. Any idea how to update it?

When i use transaction code IW22 to release and complete the fields are being populated.

I had the same problem, found your post when searching for help...

Finally I found out that by doing this sequence of BAPIs :

BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_TASK_COMPLETE
BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT
BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_SAVE
BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT

the name, date and time are filled...

Hello John,

I had the same problem and Gerald's solution worked for me!. I tested the solution without the second step (BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT) and it still works perfectly.
