Table parameters are obsolete

Hi,

I am working on creating a function module for generic extraction. When I am working on my function module using
RSAX_BIW_GET_GET_DATA_SIMPLE as a template, I have run into an error " table parameters are obsolete!”
when I have clicked on table tab to specify the following:

Parameter Name: E_T_DATA
Typing: LIKE
Associated Type: <the structure name which I have created for this FM>
Optional check: checked

I got struck ed with my function module and have to abort it before exit.

Could anyone help me to resolve this?
Could you also explain to me how E_T_DATA and the structure I have created related in the above setting?

hi,

if you declare it under tables means , first it ll show like what you said earlier..

tables parameters are obselete..

if you press again Enter means your problem ll solve,...

why its showing like this is, Tables parameters are kinda obselete in newer versions.. cause OOabap i mean Objetcs wont support Tables parameters.. because its with header line..

this is the problem u r facing..

press again enter , it ll work.. its just an warning message only..

As Mathan mentioned..its warning, either you can continue, pressing enter.

But ideally, create a table type and use Changing paramaeters of FM
