simple report output with multiple hotspots doing different things?

Hi,

My client is asking for something that I think is impossible. So I decided to ask you experts for advice.

He wants me to create a simple report output, so no ALV. And in this report with write output statements,

he wants me to create multiple hotspots on different data. Depending on what data I'm clicking on, he wants

me to go to one transaction or another, or even open a website in a new browser window...

Now I know I can create a hotspot, but I don't think I can create multiple hotspots that do different actions depending on the data that I click on, right?

Thanks!

This can be done. Check sap help or search for the available information for "at line-selection and get cursor field" statements.

Well, he's demanding a click + action on data in the abap report. Is there another way than hotspots?

https://help.sap.com/doc/abapdocu_750_index_htm/7.50/en-US/abapat_line-selection.htm

Effect

This statement defines an event block whose event is raised by the
ABAP runtime environment
when a screen list is displayed. This is provided the screen cursor is a
list line and a function is selected using the function code PICK. By
defining this event block, the
standard list status
is enhanced automatically in such a way that the function code F2 and, with it, the double-click mouse function is associated with the function code PICK.

Note

If the function key F2 is associated with a function code other than
PICK, each double click raises its event, usually AT USER-COMMAND, and not AT LINE-SELECTION
.
