VMI_EI_API Partner Functions

Hi ,

Background of the issue:

I am trying to use the method VMI_EI_API~maintain_bapi.

I could create

1. basic vendor (without company code / Purchase org assignment )

2. Vendor with company code assignment

I am facing issues in creating Vendor with Purchase org & partner functions.

I do not see a elaborate document to achieve this.

From the forum I see Kesavadas Thekkillath & Veronika Hermenau have worked on this.

I have set the current_state = 'X', its not working, when I have the current_state = ' ' also its not working.

Question:

What are the values I should pass to the VMDS_EI_MAIN-VENDORS-PURCHASING_DATA-PURCHASING-FUNCTIONS?

I have passed,

Functions-CURRENT_STATE = 'X',

FUNCTIONS-FUNCTIONS-TASK = 'I'

FUNCTIONS-FUNCTIONS-DATA_KEY-PARVW = 'OA' (the partner function I want)

FUNCTIONS-FUNCTIONS-DATAX-PARTNER = 'X'

Rest all of the fields of Functions node is blank.

Please help with any good documentation to create vendor with partner functions via this class.

Also share your useful thoughts.

I am facing issues in creating Vendor with Purchase org with partner functions where the partner number should be the vendor that is being created. You can see this behavior when we manually create vendor via XK01.

When partner number is given as another vendor in the Functions (nested structure), I could create the vendor.
