Problem in retrieving GOS attachment

Hi experts,

We face problem in retrieving attachment for GOS objects. we use a custom Function Module(RFC enabled) that retrieves attachments for OM objects. An external java application calls this FM to display attachment. Now the problem is they are unable to convert the binary content(SOLIX TABLE) to create the attachment file. I have tried to convert the solix table content to text from SAP side. But its of no use.

Please provide some suggestions.

Hi Sowmya,

We faced this issue and were stuck for almost a month.

I guess Java will be using a RAW format while accepting data.

The complete data may not be passed from ABAP side to Java.

Please ask Java team to upload a file from their side and convert it to RAW and then check the RAW format data that we are passing. There might be some differences.
