ISR Notification update problem

Hi,

We are using ISR scenarios to update Material Master along with workflow approvals. Everything is working fine but at one case we are unable to modify the request data. i.e. when creator user id is not available in the system.

Example.

1) User A has created a request 01.

2) after some approvals it went to some other users to update their respective views.

3) In meantime, User A left the organization and we have deleted the User id 'A' in the system.

4) In this case, system is not allowing other users to act any thing (Modify/approve/reject/ etc ...) on that request created by the user A.

I am able to debug ISR_PROCESS_EVENT function module and found the exact place where it is validating , but only thing i am not sure about the process which we need to follow in these cases.

I was thinking to raise it to SAP, but before that i just wanted know is their any alternative ways which are already available in SAP.

Please suggest.
