Hi Hemant,

An object will be create with name alv_grid with the container alv_container.

alv_grid is type ref of cl_gui_alv_grid.

Like Module Pool, Oops ALV Grid also need a container.

this means

Creation of the ALV object, when we use cl_gui_container=>screen0 as parent, the ALVGrid control will automatically use the full screen to display the grid, NO CONTAINER DEFINITION IS REQUIRED.

Hi,

Asuming alv_grid is CL_GUI_ALV_GRID .

Have a look at BCALV_GRID_DEMO at SLIS Package .

CREATE OBJECT G_CUSTOM_CONTAINER
           EXPORTING CONTAINER_NAME = G_CONTAINER.
    CREATE OBJECT GRID1
           EXPORTING I_PARENT = G_CUSTOM_CONTAINER.

BCALV_GRID_DEMO_0100_CONT1 is a CL_GUI_CUSTOM_CONTAINER

that will reside within screen 0100.
